Dan Hussain
Founder, President and Chairman
Mr. Hussain was educated at MIT in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, and computer science, and also studied internet and intellectual property law at Harvard and theoretical geophysics at the University of Cambridge (UK). Mr. Hussain ultimately graduated with a degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from MIT. Mr. Hussain has worked for NASA, Northwestern, Siemens, and the law firm Frommer, Lawrence, and Haug, LLP.
Mr. Hussain won the Siemens Westinghouse National Science Award, a national award given to one team in the United States for engineering excellence. According to Science Magazine, this is “a junior Nobel Prize.” Dan is currently pursuing a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon. He continues his interest in astrophysics and space exploration through his participation in the International Mars Society, of which he was a Founding Member. Vincent DeVito
General Counsel
Mr. DeVito served as the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Energy for Policy and International Affairs. In that capacity, he was responsible for developing strategic policy while managing a multi-million dollar budget. He oversaw the Climate Change Technology Program, a global portfolio, and maintains international government and industry contacts worldwide. While at the Department of Energy, Mr. DeVito served as the U.S. manager of the North American Energy Working Group, a task force created to pursue the development of a fully integrated North American energy market. Mr. DeVito also worked with then Ambassador Paul Cellucci to make possible the U.S.-Canada Power Outage Task Force that was established as a result of the electricity blackout in August 2003. Immediately prior to joining the Department of Energy, Mr. DeVito served as an energy lawyer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the legislative, regulatory, and administrative levels. In that capacity, he pursued the development and implementation of the state’s electric utility deregulation plan. All along Mr. DeVito has taken time to serve as a professional manager for several state and national political campaigns, and recently served as a manager for Governor William Weld’s last gubernatorial campaign.
Mr. DeVito is an authority on renewable energy development and corporate sustainability issues and has closely worked on legislative and regulatory corporate disclosure and compliance matters at the state, national, and international levels. He has strategically advised members of the President’s Cabinet, governors, ambassadors, and corporate leaders, and has participated in each major federal initiative that has impacted the energy industry this decade.

Cong Luo
Managing Director
Cong was an energy resource engineer at RES Americas, Inc., a Colorado-based renewable energy company that develops, constructs and operates wind farms. She provided technical input throughout the multiple stages of project development, including designing and optimizing wind turbine layouts. Her research on the performance of operational wind farms aimed to elucidate the energy losses to further enhance power generation. She was also involved in the development of commercial scale solar power systems. Cong received her Bachelor’s of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from MIT.

Charles H. Kim
CFO
Mr. Kim is an entrepreneur with an extensive background in corporate finance and accounting. He has held key positions in private equity, public accounting, and a privately held commercial printing company.
Mr. Kim served in a senior finance position at Intervale Capital, a $280 million private equity fund dedicated to investing in oilfield service and manufacturing companies. He reported directly to the CFO for daily functions including managing General Partner and Limited Partner relations, performing partnership and tax accounting, and providing technical accounting guidance to the portfolio company CFOs. Early on at Intervale, Mr. Kim was tasked with assessing the financial health and restructuring the finance team of a legacy portfolio company, which resulted in a successful asset divestiture to a publically traded company. At Ernst & Young LLP, Mr. Kim supervised the audit teams of public and private equity-sponsored companies primarily in the biotech and telecom industries. As an owner-operator of a commercial printing company, Mr. Kim led his company to be nominated as one of the nation’s fastest growing companies by Michael Porter’s Initiative for a Competitive Inner City. Mr. Kim also volunteered fulltime with the Salvation Army World Trade Center emergency disaster relief operations in New York City. He was directly responsible for supervising one hundred people, and coordinating with Federal Agencies to navigate the safe transit of donated goods.
